The WID-TVC Mentorship Program provides many professional development and networking events throughout the year and encourages development of professional female mentor-mentee relationships.  Additionally, the WID-TVC Mentorship Program educates the public on the challenges of serving/working in defense and national security.  A core mission of mentorship is to encourage women of all ages to engage and influence the areas of defense and national security through work in government, industry, and the military, and to support women to pursue and continue in careers related to the defense industry and national security. The WID-TVC Mentorship Program recognizes the achievements of women working in STEM, and the success of women in defense and national security related professions.
